Nobody puts baby in the corner

I have dreams about how I will teach Olivia to be a confident, strong, bad-ass, tough chick. In my mind I call it her Angelina Jolie training. We will master martial arts (in the Mommy and Me Karate class) so she can beat the crap out of any guy thinking about trying to take advantage of her. She will go to gun training so she can confidently disarm any weapon she stumbles upon. I think we will even throw in some fencing lessons because you never know when she will be required to draw swords against a ninja pirate. She will sail and learn to tie every cool knot known to man. She will delve into her horse whisperer talents to call upon any steed when she needs to make a daring escape or rescue. Oh, and sprinkle in some yoga/meditation for balance, focus, and clarity.

Me: "Olivia, look at the pink tree!"

O: "I LOVE PINK! MOMMY, CAN I HUG IT!" (after hugging tree and looking up at the tree) "Love you, I love you pink tree!"

Today was picture day at school and Olivia said that because she was wearing a dress that she could marry Case. So, I asked her when she came home if she married Case today.

ME: "Olivia, did you marry Case today?"

O: "No, Mommy. I was Rapunzel and Case kissed my hand. I screamed, "EWWWWWWWWWW!"
