Cousin Morgie cracks me up because she makes a lot of grand entrances and exits. If you look closely, Morgie has her first dance with a boy! (I think it was the first anyway) They were all such graceful dancers!

Morgie came over today for a visit...Olivia gets very excited to see her cousins as you can see in this video. So excited, she smothers her joy face-down on a bed - many times. She's a lil' goofball. Olivia became slightly territorial with her cat piano and decided to sit on it. Oh well. We played in Olivia's room, went to swing in the park, Uncle Mark (Daddy) read them I Love You Through & Through with his typical great animation, and had some rigatoni, broccoli and cupcakes (thanks to Ms. Sprinkles) for dinner. Yum! Yum!

Earlier today, Olivia and I were at Target doing a little shopping. Selecting a cake mix, I said to Olivia, "Should we bake cupcakes for Daddy's birthday?!"

Olivia, "YES!!!!"

Olivia again, "No, for me!!!"

Sorry Daddy, only Olivia gets birthday cupcakes.

Time for a big girl bed! Kallemeyns came to town! Ice Cream!

Baby princess in her big girl bed...

Olivia is a monster and growing much too large for her crib anymore. Mommy and Daddy decided upon a whim to move the girl on up to her big girl bed. Awe... And, there were slightly selfish reasons, too. This way, if the peanut wants to get up in the middle of the night, she can just walk on over!

Day by day, Olivia's vocabulary increases ten-fold. She is a mystery in the making. The kid definitely knows what she wants and is not afraid to say so.

8/9/09 3 mile walk to playground today, lift kid up and kid kicks wet sand all down Mommy's shirt, neck and face. Kid attempts to blow seeds from dead dandelion, doesn't work so great so sticks whole dead dandelion in mouth. Seeds all over face, mouth, yuck. Kid then uses hand covered in wet sand to wipe out the seeds. Water? Oh no, my sandy hand works better Mommy!

You know you have a toddler when...You try to clean the mac 'n cheese handprints off of your pants with an orange juice soaked towel. Note: Orange juice does not remove macaroni and cheese.
