Bunny woes, yes bunny woes. I am amused by the comment left by "Betty" on the blog who noticed that Olivia is indeed sitting in a basket with a bunny. Betty was concerned that the bunny was not having any fun. I can guarantee that the bunny was enjoying himself. When the "bunny handler" picked up bunny and placed the bunny in the basket there was no fighting, arguing, biting, no bunny assaults, it was just
pure bunny bliss. No bunnies were harmed in the making of said photo. As a matter of fact, bunny went right to sleep. If I could read bunny minds, I would guess that bunny was happier with Olivia in the photo than he would have been with the 5-year-old boy that was up next.
Okay, on to more important things. Daycare stinks. I miss not being home with my baby. So, I have come up with a plan...she is coming to work with me. Yeah! Well, at least 3 blocks away. This way Olivia and I can have quality mommy/daughter time during the lunch hour. I never thought it would be so difficult to leave your kid with strangers until I had to do it. We are so lucky she is so happy, smiley and sociable because I think I would be a total wrek otherwise.
So, yeah! Next Monday - the 31st - Toodie (Olivia's nickname for those of you not yet in the know - pronounced TUH-dee) will be driving to work with me everyday. The car has been outfitted with an elaborate mirror system, sun shades and UV-blocking sheeting on the rear window. We are all set! The trunk is stuffed with more baby things: stroller, diapers, blankies, wipes, sun bonnets, so that Toodie and I can enjoy afternoon strolls through the parks and along the river.
Olivia has been talking up a storm, blowing bubbles, attempting sit-ups, she loves to stand-up and survey the land. Scrappy has become her new favorite "toy" to watch. I know Olivia is convinced that when Scrappy is panting, Scrappy is smiling at her so she smiles back. Awe...
Photos from Easter will be posted as soon as I can get them off the family camera.
